Aurora, just off Aldwych January 25, 2006
Posted by CamdenKiwi in : Cafes & Restaurants , trackbackSometimes I just feel like a steak, veges and a glass or two of red wine. Tonight was one of those nights, and I was down by Aldwych so popped into the Ristorante Aurora, a fairly typical Brit-Italian. The downstairs is non-smoking, which doesn’t always happen in these kind of places and is very welcome when it does. Pepper fillet steak, beans and broccoli with a couple of glasses of vino de la casa was reasonably well done, but £24 seems a bit over the top for this.
Its not a bad bet if you’re heading for the theatre or in the area, but there are probably better and cheaper around.
