I'm a Kiwi also working in Camden and living in London. I'm part of a small, but enthusiastic, group campaigning for the NZ Green party to Kiwis living in London. At latest estimates there's over 100,000 of us here and most are eligible to vote so it's a significant electorate for the election. The Greens have a natural affinity with Kiwis living over here as they've generally travelled a fair bit and now appreciate more than ever what we have back home, and feel more determined to keep it as clean and green as possible. I wonder if you'd be interested joining our group, or posting about any of our events? We engage in a wide range of activities from direct face-to-face campaigning (like at the Waitangi day pub crawl & Kiwi music concerts) to hosting events to viral campaigns (to come closer to the election). We have a facebook page where you can see the kind of things we get up to. http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/group.php?gid=2399733427 We're always keen for people to help out in any way, small or large, online or face-to-face. Let me know if you're keen to get involved in any way. I'm also the producer of a new climate change documentary you may have heard of, called 'The Age of Stupid'. www.ageofstupid.net Cheers Lizzie Gillett Dear Cathryn,

It’s called the G8 Wait and can be found on MySpace, Facebook, YouTube and Flickr. The basic idea is this: in 2005 the world leaders made lots of promises about poverty. Unfortunately a lot of these promises are in danger of being broken. So we want to let the G8, and particularly Tony Blair, know that we’re eagerly waiting for them to respond on these promises. We’re asking Tony to post a video when he returns from this year’s G8 explaining what he and the seven other world leaders discussed and decided. The more people waiting the more likely he is to respond. So we’ve made a sort of virtual waiting space – the peoples’ table - on the four major social networking sites, and we’re trying to get as many people as possible to join. You can have a look here: MySpace(www.myspace.com/g8wait) Facebook(http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2347287531) YouTube(www.youtube.com/g8wait) Flickr(www.flickr.com/groups/g8wait) Climate change is really high on the G8 agenda so maybe you’d like to mention our campaign in your blog? That would be most lovely indeed. It’s really important that we get as many people as possible to join so your help would be much appreciated. And while you’re at it, make sure you join the wait too! Thank you so much. Let me know if you have any questions. Victoria Watts Oxfam Hello there,

How do I get in contact with them? I noticed an old blog of yours from about 12 months ago in relation to living in Somers Town. I'm currently doing some research in the area and wondered if you had come across the Somers Town Community Association? I'm interested in finding out what residents think about the facility and the contribution it makes to community development and urban renewal. I would be interested in hearing from you. What wonderful news to discover that in Europam lingua Romanorum vivat, and that English has not quite yet superceded it as the universal language. Such are the miracles of modern technology that the ancient tongue can spread through the ether in a way that Caesar would have envied. Speaking of new technology, I paid you a cybervisit the other day. I have hooked in to Googlearth and have been playing with it, learning to navigate. I hung suspended above your place from a height of about 150 metres and the resolution was incredible, although I could not see Thelma - she must have been curled up under a duvet. Hello in there.
